Keller in Efects
Effects Animators in the 1950s — I think most people here know that, in addition to working on DHI, I also direct a creative writing program at a university in California. Very rarely do I get these two worlds to merge, but yesterday the summer issue of VQR arrived with a short story I wrote about effects animators in the 1950s. I wrote the first draft of the story years ago, with a little guidance from Dorse Lanpher. (The characters in the story have nothing to do with Dorse, but Dorse, an effects animator himself who started at Disney in the 1950s, sure helped with the technical details.)
