In the continuing saga of the Disney characters promoting Standard Gasoline and Products via their popularity I offer up this wonderful piece from the Institute’s archives. The original measures well over six feet tall and was a dealer promotional poster for September 1939. The “unsurpassed” is seen on a good amount of the artwork (there is a great one on the DHI Facebook page), as it was one of the key words in Standard Oil’s overall advertising and marketing scheme.

Enjoy.
