In celebration of our 700th member on our Facebook Disney History Institute site, I thought I’d share this wonderful (and screamingly rare) concept piece from a 1978 Epcot Prospectus–for the never-realized Space Pavilion, this evocative art suggests a futuristic transportation system that would make Walt proud. The seating arrangement and the multiple screens remind me a lot of the configuration for THINK! in the IBM Pavilion at the 1964 World’s Fair.
