And Disney Artist Hank Porter. Western Family magazine, November 1, 1945. A whole series of covers were done in the mid to late 1940s on Western Family magazine, often featuring holiday themes. Hoping your Thanksgiving is filled with family, friends, and LOTS of Turkey (do you supposed Porter did the art of the turkey as well … looks more like a paste in from a supermarket advertisement).

Boy, that Hank Porter sure could draw! His characters (like the WW2 artwork) are lively and solidly constructed. Did he really ONLY do promo artwork, or was he also an animator or comic book artist?
