Walt Disney consented to have his hand prints “read” in the 1930s, as it was popular with the Hollywood stars of the day. Much like reading tea leaves, or telling fortunes, the “art” of hand reading was offered by several experts, but rarely with any scientific backing. Walt’s reading for his hand prints above was: “Walt Disney has double-jointed thumbs, dead giveaway of a liking for dramatic episodes. Square palms show tenacity of purpose which makes Disney a worker, not simply a dreamer. Long, heavy second finger reveals deep seriousness. The first phalange of his third finger is longer than the second, which should indicate a preference for black and white rather than color as a medium of expression.”
